In 2018, Center Stage camp approached the team at Frankfort Camp Ministries with the desire to offer a dramatic/creative arts camp. Our camp would be a place where kids, entering into the fifth through twelfth grades, could come and be given the opportunity to use their creative talents through the visual and dramatic arts, meet new friends, build on existing friendships, and have fun together, all while experiencing and growing in their understanding of Jesus Christ through Christian camaraderie and worship.
The mission of Center Stage Creative Arts Camp is to introduce the gospel of Jesus Christ through Bible application and elements of music, visual art and design, drama, tech, composition, video, and photography. Our camp runs for an entire week and concludes with a program where family and friends are invited to join campers and staff to share in a dramatic arts stage performance while also enjoying the display of visual arts made through the week.
Under the guidance of staff, campers will enjoy their week of camp sharing in three meals, Bible troops per age levels (5th and 6th, middle school, high school), talent show, theme nights, recreation, vespers, workshops, snacks at the Snack Shack, and Oscar night!
